BP-325 Belt-Pack Intercom Station – Call Button

The CALL button gets someone’s attention on an intercom channel. It sends a call signal to compatible stations; it does not turn on the microphone. The TALK button still handles the conversation.
Sending a Call Signal
- Turn on TALK for the channel you want to call. The green talk LED should be lit.
- Press and hold CALL. The red call LED will remain lit while the signal is being sent.
- When someone responds, release CALL and talk normally.
- Turn off TALK when the conversation is finished.
Receiving a Call Signal
- The red call LED will flash on the channel receiving the call.
- If the TALK LED is also flashing, turn on TALK to answer.
- If the TALK LED is not flashing, TALK is already on. Begin speaking.

Sending a Talk-Off Signal
Talk-Off lets a BP-325 remotely turn off a latched TALK button on another compatible station. This is useful when an unattended microphone has been left open and is adding noise to the intercom channel.
- Turn off both TALK buttons on the sending BP-325.
- Tap CALL three times quickly. The red call LED will remain on for about two seconds.
- While the red LED is on, briefly press TALK for the affected channel. The remote TALK button should turn off.
Talk-Off settings: On a BP-325, DIP switch 6 enables Talk-Off transmit and DIP switch 8 enables Talk-Off receive. Both are ON from the factory. Talk-Off is compatible with the BP-325, MCE325, and MRT327.
See the A2Sound BP-325 Configuration guide for the DIP-switch locations and other internal settings.
